Another Professional Photography Qualification

I’m really pleased to have found out this week that I’ve been awarded the ‘Licentiate of the National Photographic Society’ (LNPS) qualification, which adds to the Licentiate of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (LSWPP) that I already hold. I do believe that it’s important for anyone who wants themselves to be considered a professional photographer to have their work rigorously assessed by one of the national and / or international organisations (such as the two just mentioned), in order to assure themselves and the general public that their work is of a marketable standard – especially if the photographer wants to specialise in the highly competitive and technically demanding areas of weddings and portraits.

Anyway – I’m well – chuffed (thats very happy to those not from ‘up north’) – only downside is I’m going to have to get new stationery!
